Craigdarroch is currently used for family visits and not for rent.
Built in 1876, Craigdarroch is situated perfectly on the point to look out over the meadow to the lake. From the lake, you can see it presiding over the shorline as a beacon of civilization, hearkening back to an earlier time.
Craigdarroch is named after a home in Scotland, where is was the seat of the Chief of the Dumfriesshire Fergussons for 600 years. The Knight family, the current residing family at Craigdarroch on Lake George, is descended from the Scottish Fergussons. |
